JNTUK signs agreement with Scotland varsity, MAS-GMR.

Kakinada: The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) has signed a tripartite agreement with the University of Highlands and Islands, Scotland and MAS-GMR for providing a four-year International Integrated Masters Degree Programme (IIMDP) in Aircrafts Maintaining Technology.

After the agreement was signed on Friday, JNTUK Vice Chancellor Allam Appa Rao said that students who would pursue the course will have to attend classes for two years at JNTUK and the remaining two years at a foreign university.

Prof. Appa Rao saw the future of Hyderabad as an aircraft maintaining hub and said that the present course will provide qualitative and qualified manpower to the hub.

Ajay Reddy of the GMR Foundation and Andrew Ray of the University of Highlands and Islands were present during the signing of the agreement.
