KEAM- Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical Entrance Examination.

KEAM is conducted by The Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Government of Kerala.

The  KEAM exam  is a gateway that provide admissions to professional degree courses in various fields like engineering, agriculture , medical colleges  and many others. It is also known as Kerala engineering entrance or Kerala medical entrance exam.

Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical Entrance Examination is conducted on the various test centres like Delhi, Mumbai, Ranchi, Shillong and Dubai (UAE).

Eligibility Criteria for KEAM

Eligibility for Domicile:

  • The candidates who is applying must be an Indian citizen.
  • PIO (Person of Indian Origin)/ OCI (Overseas citizen of India) is also allowed to apply.
  • The candidates who are interested to get admissions in professional courses will be categorized as
  • Keralite
  • Non-Keralite category I and
  • Non-Keralite category II.

Eligibility for Academics

  • The candidate who is applying must be qualified 12th standard or equivalent examination scoring at least 50% in Mathematics individually and 50% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics together.

Age limitation

  • The age limitation for the candidates who are applying for KEAM 2017 is 17 years as on 31stDecember of the year of admission.
  • There is no upper age limit.
  • And Relaxation in age will not be permitted.

KEAM Exam Pattern

  • The no of papers of Keam Examination will consists of two papers.
  • The duration of each Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical Entrance Examination paper will be two and half hours.
  • The exam questions types will be of objective type.
  • Candidates are supposed to mark the answers by using only blue or black ball point pen.
  • The number of options for each question will be five, and the candidates have to choose the correct one
  • The KEAM entrance exam will be conducted in pen and paper based mode.
  • The entrance exam will consists of total 120 questions.
  • Marking scheme of Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical Entrance Examination is, for every correct response, 4 marks will be allotted to the candidates.
  • For incorrect response, 1 negative mark will be deducted to the candidates.
  • The negative marking is also applied for multiple answers.
  • If no response is given then no marks will be allotted.
