DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING

Computer science and engineering department aims at producing technically competent professionals who can excel in today’s age of technology. Quality education is imparted in various disciplines, viz…. Artificial intelligence, software project management and compiler designing to name a few, with special emphasis on practical application of knowledge. The department has long recognized its role in engineering education, generation and dissemination of useful and relevant technologies.

DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL ENGINEERING

Set up in 1958, the civil department is one of the oldest department of the college. The department offers bachelors and masters courses for its students. The qualified & experienced faculty of civil department have been imparting expert knowledge to students in every field of civil engineering. Further the department also offers consultancy and testing facility, which generates internal revenue. The department is also the ‘state technical agency for PMGSY (prime ministers gram soda yeoman).

DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

The Department of Information Technology was inaugurated in 2007. It is guided by well trained faculty members and has well equipped laboratory resources. It is currently offering B. Tech (IT) Three year programmes in full time mode for the Diploma holders. It also offers M. Tech (IT) course, both in Full time and Part time modes. The course on M.E Mainframe Technology was offered from 2008 in Full time mode. The student’s association EDITA was inaugurated on November’2008 which is effectively organizing technical events for the students.

DEPARTMENT OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

The Division conducts UG programme (B.Tech) and PG programme (M.Tech) in energy systems and environmental science. The present course is structured keeping in view the growing demand for integration of modern advances in automation and environmental engineering into the mechanical field. Department also offers PhD program in all relevant disciplines like design, production, thermal and industrial management.

DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING

The Division of Electronics and Communication Engineering, since its inception, is well known for producing engineers with all round expertise to meet the growing demand for technical manpower in the industrial arena. The Division is equipped with excellent infrastructure and state of the art equipment to explore the technological challenges in the areas of Electronics, Communication Networks, VLSI design, Signal Processing, Image Processing, ASIC Design, RF Design and digital system design.

DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING

One of the oldest and most trusted disciplines of engineering studies, electrical engineering is the backbone of every industry. Since the day it has been established it continues to be the pride of the institution, thanks to the disciplined and encouraging supervision of the several lecturers and professors. The department has also propelled various research programs in the field of signal processing, digital image processing control system etc., various organizations are indebted to us for receiving consultancy in design of heavy machines and electrical equipments, high voltage engineering, power electronics etc.,

DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER APPLICATUIONS

The Department of Computer Applications was established in the year 2007 dated: 28.11.2007. The Department offers Master of Computer Applications (MCA) – 3 Years (Full Time) Post-Graduate Programme. It is one of the pioneering departments in the University. This Department comprises of experienced faculty members and is actively involved in research and in carrying out projects besides teaching. It is committed to impart quality education in the fields of IT, a field growing in leaps and bounds. The curriculum is so made that the course provides a good theoretical foundation through high quality teaching complemented by extensive practical training.
