  • A.P SSC 2012 Results Are Released.

ANDHRA PRADESH BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION SSC 2012 Results Are Declared.

SSC Results Out at 11 am Today.

The results of the SSC public examinations will be announced at 11 am on Thursday. Minister for secondary education K. Parthasarathi will release the results at the office of the director of government examinations in Abids. Nearly 12.8 lakh students had appeared for these exams held in March.

This year, the results assume significance in the backdrop of the state government deciding to award grades in place of marks along the lines of CBSE. The decision was taken as per the directions of the AP High Court to de-stress students and to curb unhealthy competition among private schools, which claim state ranks immediately after the announcement of marks to attract fresh admissions every year.

AP Online and Mee Seva centres will also provide subject-wise grades. BSNL will provide the results through IVRS and SMS. BSNL landline/mobile users can dial 1255225 to know results. To know results by SMS, regular candidates have to type SSC Roll No and send it to 53346 or 53345. Supplementary candidates have to type SSCUP Roll No. and send to 53345 or 53346.

Students can also obtain results by sending SMS to 53030 (One97 users). Subject-wise grades and grade points will be given to students for the first time from this year. The final grade point will be the average of grade points secured in individual subjects. No marks will be printed even on SSC marks memos from this year. The marks sheets will contain only grades. All successful students will be placed in eight different grades, while the failed candidates will be put in a separate grade. However, for second language paper, the grades will be given on different parameters.
