7. What is pest outbreak and discuss in detail the causes of pest outbreak in agro-eco
system?
8. What is IPM, outline its different components? What are the major constraints in IPM
implementation? Outline the strategies for effective implementation of IPM?
9. Write short notes of the following topics :

b) Light activated pesticides
c) Microbial control
d) Insect resurgence
e) Organophosphates
