7. What is sterilization? Describe the physical and chemical methods of sterilization.
Also highlight advantages and disadvantages in each case.
8. What are heterologous proteins? Describe the production of heterologous proteins in
microbes with suitable examples.
9. Give a brief account of characteristics of bacteria, fungi and algae.
