RURAL FACILITIES CENTRE

With an increased impetus on developing villages in India, a Rural Facilities Centre is proposed in a village in Punjab. As an architect, design the building and spaces commensurate with the climate, lifestyle and comfort of the people. Also select the appropriate materials and techniques of construction that blend well with the context and are also energy saving. Scope for future expansion must be considered.

Design should be people friendly (specially for the differently-abled, senior citizens, women, illiterate etc.) and appropriate Signage and Graphics-be used for convenience.

Site is 30m x 25m and is approached by a 15mwide road. (Offsets- front 4m, all sides 2m)
