3. Attempt 2 question from each UNIT.
4. Each question of Unit I and Unit II is of 16 marks. One mark is reserved for neatness.
5. Choose suitable scale for details.

1. a) Draw neat sketch of ridge detail of king post truss.
b) Draw neat sketch of Allahabad tiles with dimensions.
c) Explain (with sketches) briefly about the accessories used in fixing of AC and Gl
sheets in roofing.
d) Explain briefly Dhajji wall construction.
e) Explain difference between couple and close couple roof. 2?5=10
UNIT-I
2. Explain in detail the types of stone flooring and process of laying the same.
3. Enlist various floor covering materials (other than stone) explaining their constituents,
properties and uses.
4. Write in detail the types, properties, advantages and uses of plastic in buildings.
UNIT-II
5. Draw the plan, elevation and relevant details (three) of a 9m span built up timber truss.
6. Design and detail out a timber staircase for a rise of 2.5m.
7. Design and detail out a timber sliding folding door for an opening of size 3m?3m.
