2. Discuss the principles of post-emergence herbicides.
3. Explain the allelopathic effects of weeds on maize, sorghum, wheat and sunflower.
4. Explain the common weed dispersal agents.
5. Discuss the classification of herbicides.
6. Briefly explain the compatibility of herbicides with other agrochemicals (additive,
synergistic, antagonistic, independent and enhancement effect).

SECTION-C
7. Explain in detail the biological and integrated weed management practices.
8. Discuss the various methods of herbicide application along with advantages.
9. (a) Explain the concept of crop weed association and competition.
(b) Discuss the critical period of weed competition along with the factors affecting the
competitive ability of crops against weeds.
