5. Which factors are to be controlled for prolonging the shelf life of vegetables?
6. Discuss the export potentiality of Potato and Onion from India to other Asian Countries.

SECTION-C
7. What is vegetable hardening? How is it done? What are its effects and advantages?
8. What are the advantages of nursery raising over direct sowing? Suggest some vegetables
which favours transplanting? Which factors are to be taken care of during transplanting
of vegetables?
9. A farmer wants to cultivate chilli. How will you guide him to raise a successful crop
describing all agronomic practices?
