Q2. Describe the techniques, materials, colours and motifs used in preparation of Maheshwari
sarees.
Q3. Explain production process of preparing shawls. What are the changes that have come in
this textile over time? Mention the places which are famous for producing shawls and
carpets.
UNIT-II
Q4. What is ?Phulkari?. What are different types of Phulkaris? Explain its usage by the
society where it is prepared.
Q5. Explain Chikankari with special reference to motifs, colours and its usage.
UNIT-III
Q6. Differentiate between Ikat and Patola. Write a short note on block printed textiles.
Q7. Write a note on ?Kalamkari?.
