- Timber continues to be used as an important material for doors and windows in construction. What are the appropriate types of timber used for doors and windows? Present an outline of their characteristics, cost and usage in buildings.
- Explain the uses of wrought iron along with its composition and properties.
- Discuss various types of waterproofing materials along with their specific use.

- Draw to suitable scale a complete section through 230 mm thick external wall of master bed room having window opening size of 1800 × 1650 mm with sill ht. 750mm. Building is situated in water logged area where water table is at 1200 mm from NGL. Floor to ceiling is 3.5mt and Assume the plinth level of your choice from NGL.
