- Answers to question(s) of Part A attempted in answer sheet(s) of part B or Vice versa shall not be
evaluated.
. Answer sheets of Part A and Part B are not to be tagged together.
. Part A and Part B should be mentioned only on the covering page of the respective answer sheets.

Write Short notes on:
PART A
1. Describe the composition of bone? Enumerate the various cells 2+(2+3)+3
found in the bone and describe their function. Describe Haversian
system of the bone with suitable diagram.
2. Define osteomalacla. Describe its etiopathogenesis, clinical 2+(2+3+3)
features and management.
3. Classify chronic osteomyelitis. Describe its etiology, pathology, 2+(2+2+2+2)
clinical features and management.
4. Discuss the causes of nonunion of fractures. Describe various 4+2+4
types of nonunion? Discuss various modalities used to diagnose
nonunion.
5. Define Crush syndrome. Describe its pathology, clinical features 2+(2+3+3)
and management.
