The river has a flow of 9.1 m?/s, ultimate BOD of 7 mg/L & dissolved oxygen of 8.5 mg/L. Assume a complete & instantaneous mixing. At 20 °C saturated DO concentration of green river is 9.1 mg/L. Estimate the following

- If the river has a constant velocity of 0.4 m/s, Estimate BOD of the stream at distance 20 kms down stream. (Assume kq = 0.2 day™)
