5. What are the requirements and applications of plant tissue culture in pharmacognosy?
6. How does microscopic evaluation help in identification of crude drugs and their
adulterants? Explain with suitable examples.
7. What are true, proto and pseudo alkaloids? How can you confirm presence of alkaloids in
plants?
8. Write a note on drugs of marine origin.
9. What are the different methods for classification of crude drugs?
10. What are fixed oils and waxes? Write a note on biological source, constituents and uses
