1. A 54 years old , bank manager had undergone CABG (3 grafts, 2nd post operative
day). He is a known smoker and diagnosed with COPD four years ago.
What immediate complications you will predict. Why.
Explain the physiotherapy management till discharge
How will you plan phase II and Ill cardiac rehabilitation for him. Explain the phase II.

2. Define therapeutic positioning. Explain the physiological effect of various positions on
lung function. Mention the indications and contraindications for postural drainage.
What are the parameters to be monitored while positioning a critically ill patients and
give rationale for each (2+8+4+6=20)

3. Indications for pulmonary function test and various parameters used to measure lung

functions and its clinical significance

4. Explain the principles of exercise prescription

5. Effects of early mobilisation in critically ill patients

6. Endo tracheal suction - indications, contraindications, complications, procedure and

7. Discuss the role of physiotherapy in assessing and managing cancer related fatigue

8. Discuss the importance of lifestyle modification in preventing coronary_ artery
disorders with reference to physical activities .
