departments of the hotel.
3. What are the different fuels used in the hotel industry along with their examples.
4. What are the different methods of heat transfer?
5. What is the difference between insulator and conductor? Explain Ohms law with formula.
6. Explain in detail water hardness and the ways to remove water hardness.

SECTION-C
7. Draw an organisational chart of the maintenance department of a 5 star hotel. Also
explain the role of the maintenance department.
8. Compare the advantages and disadvantages of solid, liquid and gaseous fuels.
9. What is a fuse? Why is it used? Explain with neat diagrams different fuses used.
