1) What is the importance of social obligation of the architects in professional activity to be
conducted? Elaborate with suitable examples. (10)
2) Explain the role and responsibilities of an architect's as per the Architects Act 1972.

3) What code of professional conduct? Elaborate with stipulations from the Architects Act
1972 and with suitable examples. (10)
4) What are architectural competitions? Elaborate rules and regulations governing them with
suitable examples. (10)
UNIT-III
5) Explain the relationship between the contract and arbitration. Elaborate with suitable
examples. (10)
6) What are valuations methods? How effective are its use? Discuss this with suitable
examples. (10)
UNIT-IV
7) What are different tender types? Illustrate the process of calling, scrutiny and election
system with suitable examples. (10)
8) Explain the pre tender qualification and registration process with suitable examples and
illustrations. (10)
