UNIT-I

1. Enlist the basic elements of architectural design. Explain any two of them in detail along with examples. (20)

1. What are the different type of scale used in design? Explain any one of them along with suitable example. (20)

2. Sketch the layout of drawing cum-. dining space of size 14°07x18°’0” by using anthropometrics dimension. Assume the entry of drawing area and location of kitchen. (20)

UNIT-I1I

1. 1. Draw 2-dimension composition by using following geometric shape on suitable scale:
      1. 3 Nos. equilateral triangle of side 4cm, 4Nos circle of diameter 4cm. & 3Nos. square of side 4cm.
      2. 1 Nos. hexagon of side 4cm, 6 Nos. circle of diameter 4cm & 3Nos. square of side 4cm. (15x2=30)

   2. Draw a mural in size 4meter x 5 meter incorporating the geometric shapes for foyer in an architecture college using 1:50 scale. 30)
2. Sketch a basic three dimensional compositions by using minimum one number each shapes such as cube, sphere, pyramid, cone and prism. Draw the front and side elevation on suitable scale. (60)
