UNIT-I
1. What is the various classification of Glass? What are the various applications of wired
glass and glass blocks in buildings? (10,10)
2. What are the various types and uses of particle board? Explain the manufacturing process
of batten board. (10,10)
UNIT-II
3. Draw a typical Section through a double storied building through toilet and staircase
showing the details of foundation, floor, window, lintel, chajja, roof, terrace and parapet.

4. A school science laboratory is to be provided with terrazzo flooring. Draw the
construction details for showing all the construction details for the flooring. (25)
5. Draw the plan, elevation & construction details for a dog legged R.C.C. stairs with the
floor to floor height being 3.2 m for a house. (25)
