1. For a mezzanine floor of 3mt x 6mt. suggest a suitable timber flooring design. Explain your scheme by sketching any two details along with plan of mezzanine floor showing various floor members. 10
2. What are the plastics? How they are classified? Enlist their advantages and disadvantages. 10
3. Write short notes on Any Two of the following :

UNIT II

1. Draw a part elevation, plan of 9 meter span built up truss to be covered with AC sheets roofing. Draw details of fixing a truss to the support and AC sheet roof covering. 25
2. A hall of size 5m x 8m is to be provided with officer's cabin 2.5mx4m in one corner with the help of 2.1m high wooden glazed partition wall. Design and draw plan, elevation & section (scale 1:50) and other details for the same using teak wood members, prelaminated board and glass. 25
3. Opening 1.2 m x 2 m between lobby and the bed room of a house is to be provided with a sliding door. Design and draw the elevation, section and plan of the same showing various fixing details at top and bottom of the door. 25
