1. On the first day Preliminary design shall be submitted for record; however candidates
may retain a copy of the work for their own reference. No major deviation from this will
be allowed in final submission.
2. You may presume any missing data.


?AUDITORIUM AT PATIALA?
The Punjab government has announced that Patiala is being developed as a world class city and
a facility for organizing indoor cultural functions. The local administration has identified a site
on which is to be developed an auditorium of international standards. In light of the above, you
are required to design an auditorium for 500 persons with the following requirements :
I. ENT. FOYER
II. CAFETARIA (80 persons)
III. HALL (500 PERSONS)
IV. PROJECTION ROOM
V. STAGE AS REQUIREMENT
VI. GREEN ROOMS (MALE /FEMALE)
VII. MANAGER OFFICE with staff of 2 persons
VIII. TOILETS (MALE /FEMALE)
NOTE :
a) Area should be calculated as per general standard requirements.
b) Sufficient provision for parking as per norms should be made at site.
