8. All the dimensions given are in millimeters.


1. Draft the word GOLDEN SECTION in block letters 5cms high. (25)
2. Draw the isometric of the object whose plan and elevation are given in Figure 1 attached.

3. Draw the projections of a regular hexagon of 25mm side, having one of its sides in the
H.P. and inclined at 60? to the V.P., and its surface making an angle of 45? with the HP.

4. A pentagonal pyramid, base 30mm side and axis 60mm long, is lying on one of its
triangular faces on the H.P. with the axis parallel to the V.P. A vertical section plane,
which bisects the top view of the axis and makes an angle of 30? with the vertical plane,
cuts the pyramid, removing its top part. Draw the top view, sectional front view and true
shape of the section. (20)
