MBBS Final Year Case Presentation (Clinical Case Examination, Discussion and Treatment)
A 55 yr old lady complains of fever, headache, altered sensorium and generalized convulsions of 3 days duration. Gives h/o similar illness in the same village.
CSF analysis shows:
- Raised pressure
- Appearance clear
- Cells - predominant mononuclear cells (lymphocytes)
- > 500/mm3
- Glucose 80mg/dl
- Protein - 90mg/dl
