A 63 old female who is a case of left lower lobe bronchiectasis and Type II respiratory failure
is admitted in ICU. She is mechanically ventilated under following settings : Fi02: 40%, PEEP
:6cmH2O, Mode: SIMV, Trig: 1.2 Vitals are as follows: HR : 90bpm, RR: 22 breaths/min, BP :
130/90mmHg. Identify the impairments and plan a detailed evidence based PT management
based on your assessment findings.

Outline and explain phase II Cardiac rehabilitation post myocardial infarction, based on the
Goals, Evaluation, Exercise prescription and patient education.

Explain in detail the Biomechanics of Respiration and its implications in respiratory
