  • a) A line AB 75mm long makes an angle of 45° with the VP while its front view makes an angle of 55° with the XY line. The end A is 10mm in front of the VP and 15mm above the HP. Draw the projections of the line AB.

    b) A regular pentagonal lamina of 30mm side rests on HP on one of its sides such that the surface of the lamina is inclined at 30° to HP. The side on which it rests is inclined at 45° to VP. Draw the projections of the lamina.

  • a) A cone, base diameter 50mm and axis 65mm long, rests with its base on HP. A cutting plane perpendicular to VP and inclined at 30° to HP cuts the cone, bisecting the axis. Draw the front view, sectional top view and true shape of the section.
