2. Short answer question (any five out of six): (5x7=35)

a) Define Angina. Enumerate types of angina and discuss the clinical features with management of any one type.

b) Enumerate the special tests to assess Arterial insufficiency and explain any two tests in detail.

Section "B" (30 Marks)

3. Long answer question (any one out of two): 1x15=15

a) A 48 year old software engineer was admitted with sudden onset of severe substernal pain radiating to the left shoulder 5 days back. ST abnormalities were noted in leads II,III and avF. His troponins were also high. He is a chronic smoker and has high total cholesterol levels. Currently, he is medically stable.

Discuss his ICF and phase - wise cardiac rehabilitation.(5+10)

b) A 45 year old male, working in a textile mill, with a family of 6 dependents, staying in a thickly populated slum area, is admitted in the hospital with symptoms of dyspnoea, cough with mucoid sputum and right sided chest pain since the past 1 week. He is diagnosed with right sided pleural effusion and intercostal drain has been inserted. ICD column is moving well. Patients sputum AFB has been tested positive.

Discuss his ICF and plan his short term and long term Physiotherapy management for the same.(5+5+5)

4. Long answer question (any one out of two): 1x15=15

a) A 40 year old construction labourer and sole earning member in a family of 4 members, has undergone traumatic below knee amputation 7 days back. Patient is a chronic beedi smoker, alcoholic and a diabetic. He is currently in the hospital.

Discuss his ICF and plan the Physiotherapy management according to short term and long term goals.(5+5+5)

b) A 50 year old man underwent surgical removal of right lower lobe with lateral thoracotomy incision after diagnosis of lung cancer. He has a smoking history of 2 packs per day for the past 20 years. He works as an automobile mechanic and requires full use of both upper extremities for his job. Post - operative day 1, he developed moderate pain and non productive cough.

Discuss his ICF and plan the Physiotherapy management according to short term and long term goals.(5+5+5)
