4. A random sample of size 225 is taken from an infinite population having the mean 55 and the Standard deviation 15. What is the probability that sample mean will be between 48 and 82. [12]
5. 1. A Random sample of 100 items is taken from a population whose standard deviation is 5.1. The mean of the sample is 21.6. Construct 95% confidence interval for the mean.

   2. It is claimed that a random sample of 100 tyres with a mean life of 15269 is drawn from a population of tyres which has a mean life of 15200 km and a standard deviation of 1248 km. Test the validity of the claim at 95% level.
