LONG ESSAY (These questions carry 20 marks each) 2 X 20 = 40 Marks

1. 74 year old gentlemen with a background history of Diabetes and IHD on warfarin is seen in emergency with breathlessness and Hb of 6 gm/dl. There is a doubtful history of malaena. He has an Ultrasound report with him done recently elsewhere which is suggestive of a large mass in the pelvis which is more than 7 cms in size. Discuss
2. Discuss options for a localized T2 N1 tumor of Ascending colon on a gentleman who is only 5 foot but weighs 100 kilograms. He is barely able to walk and his wife complains that he is sleepy all the time and snores a lot. The patient and the family are keen for minimally invasive option only.
