a) What baseline and follow up investigations need to be done for her?
b) What instructions would you give to such a patient?

d) What additional medications would you prescribe to such a patient to
reduce the side effects of retinoid therapy?

with multiple hemorrhagic bullae (on hands, feet, elbows, knees and
trunk) which heal with scarring and milia formation. She also has ?easy
fragility of skin?, shedding of nails and has oral lesions. A clinical
diagnosis of epidermolysis bullosa (EB) is made.
a) Write the tests which you will perform to establish the type of EB.
b) What are the complications which are likely to develop in this patient?
c) Outline the management of this patient.
