1. a) Critically evaluate the recent amendments of rape laws.
b) Methods and clinical examination of accused and victim as
suggested in Section 164A CrPC and Section 53A CrPC.

2. a) Changes that have been suggested in DSM-5 regarding
paraphilias and paraphilic disorders.
b) Write the medico-legal importance of these changes.

b) Classify disorders of sexual deviations with example.
c) Approach for sex determination in disputed sex.

4. In a Hospital, an intern removed most of the ascitic fluid in a
single tap. Following which patient died within minutes. There
was a complain of medical negligence. Autopsy reveals no
external or internal injury and no signs of asphyxia.
a) What could be the cause of death?
b) What is the pathophysiology?
c) Effects of sympathetic system on blood vessels.

5. a) Compare and contrast various legal tests of criminal
responsibility.
b) Explain with hypothetical examples how Durham test and
Curren?s Rule would exonerate a person, who would have
been convicted by Mc Naughten?s Rule.

6. Etiology, mechanisms, types and medicolegal aspects of
automatism. Give at least one important real case study.

7. Husband is impotent and wife is unable to continue pregnancy
due to cardiac reason. Fertilization has been done in vitro
using husband?s semen and wife?s ovum, and implanted on a
surrogate mother. After 5 months, there is legal separation of
husband and wife. Explain the legal, ethical/moral and social
espects of the situation.
