A 18 year old girl collapsed at the outpatient department after
receiving benzathine penicillin injection for rheumatic fever
prophylaxis. Her blood pressure was 80/60 mmHg and respiratory
system examination revealed stridor and wheeze. She was treated
for anaphylactic shock.
