1. Differentiate between the properties of lime mortar, cement mortar and mud mortar. Which is better?
2. Discuss the properties and uses of 1½ class bricks.

UNIT-II

1. Draw to a suitable scale, the plans of the consecutive courses and elevation of the Corner junction of 1 brick thick wall in English bond.
2. Draw plans of consecutive courses and elevation of a cross junction between a 9” and 13½ " brick wall in English bond.
