HOSTEL FOR B. ARCHITECTURE AT CHANDIGARH
You have been appointed as a designer of hostel located at Chandigarh. The hostel is meant for B. Architecture students and will have capacity for 110 students.
The hostel should reflect the life of architecture students. The spaces should be generated in such a manner so that the architecture students feel creative energy in living these spaces. The hostel is not the built mass but it should exhibit the environment through interactive spaces, inside-outside relationship, landscape terrace, gardens and green walls etc. The natural light and ventilations are two very important issues if kept in mind while designing hostel may result in very creative solution.
