Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) slated on January 8 should be conducted in a foolproof manner, Collector V. Anil Kumar told Education Department officials on Monday.
Addressing a meeting with them, he said TET exams would be held in two spells — from 9.30 a.m. to 12 noon and from 2.30 p.m. to 5 p.m. — in 73 centres. He told officials to ensure that the question paper was not leaked. Police should provide security to the centre where question paper were stored and prevent candidates from carrying mobile phones to the exam centres. Candidates could contact the help desk on phone no. 1077 to clear their doubts. He told Kadapa DEO A. Subba Reddy to depute a departmental official to monitor the help desk.
Ban orders OSD (Operations) Muniramaiah said prohibitory orders under Section 144 would be promulgated near the exam centres. Photostat centres nearby should be closed, he said. Training would be given to chief superintendents, departmental officials and route officers on January 5.
