HYDERABAD: Focussing on the need to create opportunities to take up studies in the emerging areas of science and mathematics, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK) and C.R. Rao Advanced Institute of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science (AIMSCS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) here on Sunday.
Announcing the MoU, JNTUK Vice-Chancellor Allam Appa Rao and Director of AIMSCS S.B. Rao told a press conference that it would help the institutes take up joint research projects on topics of mutual interest in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Computational Genomics or allied subjects and their applications.
Dr. C.R. Rao, who was present at the MoU signing, felt it would provide opportunities for young researchers.
