HYDERABAD: Re-examination for the 24 students whose answer scripts were damaged in an accident in Warangal will be held on April 9. The students will be allowed to write their examinations at the centre allotted to them earlier.
Board of Intermediate Education (BIE), in a press release on Tuesday, stated that college managements, which have not relieved their lecturers for Inter evaluation which started on March 23, will be served show cause notices. The BIE officials said the qualification certificates of Inter evaluators were being scrutinised thoroughly by the chief examiners. “Any one not qualified to evaluate the answer scripts are not allowed to be part of the evaluation camp,” the BIE press release stated.
The board issued the release as several allegations had cropped up during the past one week against lecturers evaluating the answer scripts. According to Government Junior Lecturers’ Association, several `unqualified’ lecturers were being allowed to evaluate the answer scripts.
