HYDERABAD: SSC-2011 examinations will start on Thursday with 12,99,468 candidates appearing for it at 5,841 centres across the state.
While 10,59,345 students are regular candidates, 2,40,128 are private candidates.
Directorate of government examinations in a press release stated that 300 flying squads have been employed to prevent malpractices. Officials have asked students to reach the examination centres at 8.45 am since for the first time all answer scripts will be bar coded. “The students are instructed not to write their roll numbers anywhere on the main answer scripts, additional answer scripts, map point sheet and graph sheet. The bar code will contain this detail and is meant to hide the identity of the student,” the press release said.
