JNTU-HYDERABAD (R09) Mid Exam Pattern For B.Tech/B.Pharmacy

* Mid Examinations pattern from present year is for 25 marks (10 marks for objective paper, 10 marks for subjective paper and 5 marks for assignments.)

* Each mid term examination consists of one objective paper, one subjective paper and one assignment.

* The objective paper is for 10 marks and subjective paper is for 10 marks, with a duration of 1 hour 20 minutes (20 minutes for objective and 60 minutes for subjective paper).

* Objective paper is set based for 20 bits of – multiple choice questions, fill-in the blanks, matching type questions – for the 10 marks. Subjective paper of each semester shall contain 4 full questions (one from each unit) of which, the student has to answer 2 questions, each carrying 5 marks.

* For first year, there shall be 3 mid term examinations (each for 25 marks), in a similar pattern as above [1st mid shall be from 1-2 units, 2nd mid from 3-5 units and 3rd mid shall be from 6-8 units], and the average marks of the best two examinations secured in each subject shall be considered as final marks for the internals / sessionals.

* For theory subjects, during the semester (From 2nd Year I Semester onwards) there shall be 2 mid term examinations.First mid term examination shall be conducted for 1-4 units of syllabus and second mid term examination shall be conducted for 5-8 units. 5 marks are allocated for Assignments (as specified by the concerned subject teacher) – first Assignment should be submitted before the conduct of the first mid, and the second Assignment should be submitted before the conduct of the second mid, and the average of the two assignments shall be taken.

* The total marks secured by the student in each mid term examination are evaluated for 25 marks, and the better of the two mid term examinations shall be taken as the final marks secured by each candidate.

JNTU-ANANTAPUR (R09) Mid Exam Pattern For B.Tech/B.Pharmacy

* The MID Term Exam will be for 30 marks.

* For theory subjects, during the semester there shall be 2 midterm examinations. Each mid term examination consists of objective paper for 10 marks and subjective paper for 20 marks with duration of 1hour 50 minutes (20 minutes for objective and 90 minutes for subjective paper).

* Objective paper is set for 20 bits for 10 marks. Subjective paper shall contain 5 questions of which student has to answer 3 questions evaluated for 20 marks. First mid term examination shall be conducted for I-IV units of syllabus and second mid term examination shall be conducted for V -VIII units.

* The total marks secured by the student in each mid term examination for 30 marks is considered and the better of the two mid term examinations shall be taken as the final sessional marks secured by each candidate in the subject.

* However for first year, there shall be 3 mid term examinations as in the above pattern and the average marks of the best two mid term examinations secured in each subject shall be considered as final marks for sessionals.

Note 1: The subjective paper shall contain 5 questions of equal weightage of 10 marks and the marks obtained for 3questions shall be condensed to 20 marks, any fraction rounded off to the next higher mark

Note 2: The mid term examination shall be conducted first by distribution of the Objective paper simultaneously marking the attendance, after 20minutes the answered objective paper is collected back. The student is not allowed to leave the examination hall. Then the descriptive question paper and the answer booklet are distributed. After 90minutes the answered booklets are collected back.

JNTU-KAKINADA (R10) Mid Exam Pattern For B.Tech/B.Pharmacy

# The MID Term Exam will be for 25 marks.

# Out of 25 internal marks – 10 marks are assigned for subjective exam, 10 marks for objective “On Line” exam and 5 marks for attendance.

# For theory subjects, the marks for attendance is to be given as follows:

# For theory subjects, during the semester there shall be 2 tests. Each test consists of 20 minutes duration objective “On Line” exam for 10 marks and 90 minutes duration subjective exam for 30 marks. The Objective exam marks for 10 and subjective exam marks scaled for 10 to be added to get test marks for 20. The best of the two tests will be taken for internal marks. The first test to be conducted in 1-4 units and second test in 5-8 units of each semester.

# Each Objective question paper shall contain 20 objective type questions for 10 marks. This examination is conducted “on line” to train the student for on line examinations such as GRE, GMAT etc.

# Each subjective type test question paper shall contain 3 questions and all questions need to be answered. The subjective type question paper should be for 30 marks.
