HYDERABAD: A few days after Prodigy Solutions allegedly cheated hundreds of unemployed youth, another software firm Tancoz Techno turned its board and duped several youngsters by promising them jobs in exchange for money at Madhapur on Saturday. Cyberabad police said that T Motilal Chandu, the promoter of Tancoz Techno founded the company at Megahills towers in February, 2011 and started hiring gullible unemployed youth by allegedly collecting Rs one lakh from each.
“Motilal Chandu has been absconding for the last three months but victims of the fraud approached us only today. Though there are nearly 30 employees, only 10 of them came forward to lodge the complaint,” Madhapur inspector K Srinath Reddy said.
Three months ago Motilal Chandu gave cheques to complainants as salary, but the cheques bounced. Madhapur police have registered a cheating case against Chandu.
