JNTU-ANANTAPUR : B.Tech Rules for Promotion to III and IV year classes for Year 2010-2011-Certain concessions Granted!

The students, their parents, Principals and Managements of the Affiliated Engineering colleges have requested to grant concession to credit based promotion to III and IV Years.

The Vice-Chancellor vide minutes cited above is pleased to extend certain concession for promotion to III and IV year B.Tech classes for the Academic years 2010-11 as given below subject to the ratification by M&DC.

Following are the details of credits required for the students who got admitted into B.Tech during academic years from 2003-2004 to 2008-2009.

The Principals are hereby permitted to promote the candidates to III and IV years, who secured the required credits, by considering the concessions granted in promotion rules, as given above after the declarations of results of supplementary examinations.

** Mid term examinations are to be conducted during both forenoon and afternoon sessions and they are to be completed within 3 working days as per the schedule given above.

All the midterm examinations shall be of both objective and subjective type as per the academic regulations. Class work shall be conducted during supplementary examinations period. The attendance of the candidates appearing for supplementary exams shall be counted. Extra classes may be conducted, if required, subject to a maximum of 64 periods for each subject in a semester.
