    School features in different countries

In modern world, importance of education as the most important factor in the formation of a new quality of the economy and society, is increasing along with the growing influence of human capital.

In the XXI century, humanity will be forced to solve new global problems. This is the awareness of the exhaustibility of world natural resources, the energy crisis, environmental problems, the problems of providing humanity with necessary resources (food, industrial raw materials, energy, etc.), human health problems, the problem of human poverty, the reassessment of the directions of industrial development, the radical improvement of social living conditions people, expanding the physical boundaries of the human environment, ensuring peace for all peoples, regulating the rapid growth of the population in developing countries, etc.

Education is the process of transferring knowledge and cultural values “‹”‹accumulated by generations.

Among the social institutions of modern society, education plays one of the most important roles.

Education is one of the ways of becoming a person through the acquisition by people of knowledge, the acquisition of skills and development of mental, cognitive and creative abilities through a system of social institutions such as family, school, and the media.

The purpose of education is to familiarize the individual with the achievements of human civilization, relay and preserve its cultural heritage.

The main way to get an education is through training and self-education, that is, if knowledge, skills are acquired by a person independently, without the help of other teaching people.

The schools of the world today are so different. Sometimes it seems that Finnish, French or Britain education originated on different planets.

King Billy talks about the most interesting features of schools in different countries.

    Let”™s rock!

    1. “™All high schools in Japan are paid”™ – The Japan Times states. But public are cheaper than private. Graduates of prestigious schools pass the competition to universities and excel in their careers. To be among the best, students engage in courses and with a tutor 7 days a week without holidays and weekends.
    2. The best universities in South Korea receive 70% of those who study for 14 hours a day. To pass the entrance test, 70% of students go to tutors. The whole country, with bated breath, is waiting for the end of the exam, which lasts eight hours. The police pick up the latecomers, the planes postpone the flights so as not to make noise during listening in English.
    3. To make children less tired, lessons in private institutions were banned in South Korea after 22:00. Civil servants conduct night raids in business centers, but this does not solve the problem.
    4. The largest school in the world works according to the method of Maria Montessori and is located in India. The school in Lucknow has 45,000 students from families with different incomes, religions and nationalities.
    5. In ordinary schools in India, teachers work half-heartedly so that children come to paid extra classes. Nine out of ten schoolchildren study with a tutor in India, half of them in the morning, in front of the school.
    6. Mathematics is the most sought subject for tutoring in the USA, Great Britain, Singapore and Russia. The second plaсe holds the English language, and natural sciences close the top three.
    7. There are not enough schools and teachers in Russia. The whole 8,000 Russian students are studying in the third shift.
    8. A quarter of all students in Russia work with individual teachers. Half of them are preparing for the exam, another third are analyzing school material or preparing for the olympiads.
    9. From 15 to 20% of Russian mathematics teachers and Russian language teachers do not have an adequate level of training. Teachers of dubious qualifications come to school: first, the weakest school graduates go to pedagogical universities, then those who have not found well-paid work, come to school. However, only one out of six young teachers stay to work.

An educated person is not only a knowledgeable and able specialist in the main areas of life, with a high level of developed abilities, but also one who has a worldview and moral principles, concepts and feelings. In other words – education implies the upbringing of a person.
