    AIEEE-2012 Dates are Announced.

    The All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) is an all-India common entrance examination for admission to engineering and architecture or planning programmes at the undergraduate level.

    The exam is conducted each year by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) . Candidates who qualify AIEEE can seek admission into universities and institutions all over India for BE, BTech, BArch or BPlanning courses.

    AIEEE 2012 offline examination will be held on April 29, 2012 and AIEEE 2012 online examination will be conducted from May 7-25, 2012.

    The Eleventh All India Engineering Entrance Examination AIEEE will be held on April 29, 2012 (Sunday) as per the notification released by CBSE. AIEEE is an entrance test for admission ino NITs, IIITs, Deemed Universities and Few State Funded Institutes for admissions into Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) courses.

    Every year close to 1200,000 students appear for AIEEE, for AIEEE 2011 the number of candidates registered was 11,14,880 and for AIEEE 2010 the number was 11,18,148 students. The total number of seats across all participating institutes will be approximately 28000 for engineering and 1000 seats for architecture.

    AIEEE 2012 will be held on a mass scale hence candidates are requested by CBSE to get familiar with online exam pattern. The tenth AIEEE was a mess due to paper leak issue and few candidates had to take the test once again,

    ADMISSION ANNOUNCEMENT

    (Full Time MBA Programme 2012-14 Batch)

    ELIGIBILITY :

    • Bachelors Degree of three years duration in any discipline from an institution recognized by UGC/AICTE.  Those completing their final examinations by June 2012 can also apply.

    ADMISSION PROCEDURE :

    • CAT 2011 scores will be used for short listing the candidates for group discussion/interview.  A candidate therefore has to appear for CAT-WINDOW 2011 to be conducted by the IIMs during 22nd October to 18th November, 2011.  The University uses CAT score for short listing the candidates for interview/Group discussions for admission to our MBA P5rogramme.  IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.
    • Candidate should indicate the CAT Registration No. and Test Centre Code in the prescribed application form.  Reservation of seats will be provided to the SC/ST/OBC/PWD (PH), Wards of Defence Personnel as per the policy of the Govt. of India.

    HOW TO APPLY :

    • Prospectus-cum-Application form can be downloaded from the websites (www.uohyd.ernet.in, schools9.com, indiaresults.com and manabadi.com) from 1st November, 2011 to 30th November, 2011.  The downloaded application form duly filled in as per the instructions should be sent to the Deputy Registrar (Acad. & Exams) together with a Bank Draft for Rs.500/- in the case of General and OBC candidates and Rs.300/- in the case of SC/ST/PWD (PH) candidates drawn in favour of Finance Officer, University of Hyderabad on SBI, HUC branch, Hyderabad (Code No.5916) or on Andhra Bank, Nampally Branch, Hyderabad (Code No.378).
