  • Nov. 8th is last date for Inter exam fee payment.

    The last date for submission of exam fee for second year Inter examination is November 8 and students can pay till November 14 with a fine of Rs. 100.

    It applies to all second year regular students, failed candidates (general and vocational) and attendance exempted private candidates (without college study) for Humanities groups apart from candidates who wish to appear with change of Group. Exam fee for second year regular students (general courses) is Rs. 330 including practical exam fee. Fee only for first year papers or only for second year papers (irrespective of number of papers) is Rs.230. Fee for students appearing for both first and second year (irrespective of number of papers) is Rs.560. Fee for second year regular students for vocational courses is Rs. 330. Those who fail to pay fee in time or with late fee can apply for Tatkal scheme only which will be announced in November or December 2011.

  • Inter from March 2, SSC from March 26.

    The State government has announced the schedule of SSC and Intermediate examinations for the 2011-12 academic year.

    Secondary Education Minister K. Parthasarathy told media persons here on Saturday that the Intermediate examinations would be held from March 2 to March 21 and SSC examinations from March 26 to April 11.

    Over 18.4 lakh students would appear for the Intermediate examinations and 13 lakh for the SSC examinations.

    The Minister also released the detailed time-table for both the examinations.

    While Intermediate first year examinations would be held from March 2 to 20 and that of Intermediate second year examinations from March 3 to March 21. The timings are from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

    The environment education examination for Intermediate course would be held on January 31 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the practical examinations would be held from February 3 to 24.

    The Minister said that instructions were given to all educational institutions to complete the syllabus for both SSC and Intermediate by January. In view of the loss of 16 working days in Telangana region, the teachers and junior college lecturers would work during weekends and holidays and complete the syllabus.

    He also said jumbling system for Intermediate would continue this year. On the proposed changes in the Intermediate syllabus, he said some changes would be made in the next academic year.
