are better than woven. Explain
2. Explain the parts of fully cut knitted machine and their functions.
3. Classify the types of knitting machines. Describe the production technique for knitting
sweaters.
4. Quality of weft knitted fabrics depends very much on the quality and maintenance of
different knitting elements of the machine. Justify this mentioning some important fabric
defects.
5. Explain the operating difficulties while cutting and sewing of knitted cardigans and
mention their remedies.
6. Compare the essential properties of woven and knitted fabrics for apparel use.
7. Explain the knitting cycle of rib knitting fabric manufacturing.
