Course Objective:
? To understand the mathematical fundamentals that is prerequisites for a variety of courses like Data
mining, Network protocols, analysis of Web traffic, Computer security, Software engineering, Computer

? To develop the understanding of the mathematical and logical basis to many modern techniques in

? Gain a historical perspective of AI and its foundations.
? Become familiar with basic principles of AI toward problem solving, inference, perception, knowledge

? Investigate applications of AI techniques in intelligent agents, expert systems, artificial neural networks and
other machine learning models.
? Experience AI development tools such as an `AI language', expert system shell, and/or data mining tool.

From the course the student will learn
