hold.
6. What is the use of lyapunov functions to estimate transients? Comment upon the stability
of linear and non linear systems.

7. What is the role of laplace transform and Z transform in sampling process? How the state
variable formulation of discrete time system is carried out explain with suitable example.
8. What do you understand from describing functions? What analysis does they provide
about the system stability? What is the significance of saturation and dead zone?
9. Explain in detail the phase portrait of second order non linear system? What is the need
of phase plane analysis?
