Answer all five questions

All questions carry equal marks

  3. a) A point P is 20 mm above HP and 30 mm in front of VP. Another point Q is 40 mm below HP and 20 mm behind VP. Draw projections of P and Q keeping the distance between their projectors equal to 80 mm. Draw a straight line joining their front views and determine its traces.
    b) Draw the projections of a line CD 80 mm long, inclined at 30° to HP and 45° to VP. The point C is 20 mm above HP and 30 mm in front of VP.

  4. A pentagonal plane lamina of sides 30 mm is resting on HP on one of its corners with surface making an angle of 45° with HP. If the top view of the side resting on HP makes an angle of 30° with VP, draw the projections of the lamina.
