-
A circle of 50mm diameter rolls without slipping along the horizontal line. Draw the curve traced out by a point P on the circumference for one complete revolution of the circle. Name the curve. Draw a tangent and normal to the curve at a point 40mm from the horizontal line.

A point moves such that the sum of its distances from two fixed points 100mm apart is always constant and equal to 140mm. Draw the locus of the point. Determine the major and minor axes.
-
Draw the projections of the following points on the same ground line, keeping the projectors 25 mm apart.
- Point A is 35mm above the H.P. and 25mm in front of the V.P.
- Point B is 40mm below the H.P. and 30mm behind the V.P.
- Point C is 25mm below the H.P. and 35mm in front of the V.P.
- Point D is 45mm above the H.P. and in the V.P.
- Point E is 30mm below the H.P. and in the V.P.

A line AB is 75mm long. A is 50mm in front of VP and 15mm above HP. B is 15mm in front of VP and is above HP. Top view of AB is 50mm long. Draw its projections and find the inclination of AB with HP and VP.

-
A square pyramid, base 40 mm side and axis 65 mm long, has its base on the H.P. and one of its edges of the base inclined at 45° to the V.P. Draw its projections.
OR
Draw the projections of a cone, base 75 mm diameter and axis 100 mm long, lying on the H.P. on one of its generators with the axis parallel to the V.P.
-
A cylinder of 40 mm diameter, 70 mm height is resting on the H.P on its base. It is cut by a plane perpendicular to the V.P and inclined at 30° to the H.P. The cutting plane meets the axis at a point 30 mm from the top. Draw the development of the lateral surface of the remaining portion of the cylinder.
OR
A pentagonal prism, side of base 30 mm and height 60 mm, stands vertically with an edge of its base parallel to the V.P. A section plane perpendicular to the V.P. and inclined at 60° to the H.P. cuts the prism, bisecting the axis. Draw the sectional top view, front view and true shape of the section.
-
Draw the isometric view of a pentagonal pyramid of base side 30 mm and height of the axis 70 mm when the axis is vertical.
