Q1. Design and detail out a shop counter (8.5 M long) with all the relevant details along with
specifications. 25
Q2. Design and draw suitable details for an 8 m long counter in a post office. 25
UNIT-II
Q3. Design and detail out false ceiling and wall panelling for an Architect's Office
(size 6m ? 5m), clearly showing provisions for lighting fixtures, AC diffuser etc. 25
Q4. Design and detail out false ceiling and wall panelling (with necessary acoustical
treatment) for a conference hall of size 8m ? 6m. 25
UNIT -III
Q5. a. Draw a detailed section from the basement wall of a building clearly showing all the
necessary details of waterproofing treatment. 10
b. Differentiate between extension joint and expansion joint. Draw different types of
expansion joints in brickwork, RCC framed structure (Columns, beams and slab) 15
Q6. What is prefabrication in building construction? Discuss prefabricated components along
with their construction details. 25
